Ledbury Artplace Bookwrap Challenge

We haven’t had an Artplace community challenge since the very successful Altered Books exhibition 2 ½ years ago so I though it would be nice to do a project for the New Year.

The Challenge
To make a wrap, covering for your favourite book, this could be a novel like ‘A Christmas Carol’ or ‘The Time Travellers Wife’ or well used cookery or gardening book or a particular sketchbook, any book that is precious to you.

You can use any kind of material wood, metal, cloth, paper etc. to make it out of it doesn’t have to be a textile piece and it could be a constructed box but do take the opportunity to go to town on decoration and closure methods the book needs to be wrapped and protected and the book easily removed not attached to the wrap.
